The Villa's First Wedding

In the autumn of 1877, Count Francesco Guicciardini married Princess Luísa Strozzi. The villa and its lands were the Strozzi dowry — a gift that united two of Florence's most powerful noble families in this very place.

Your wedding continues a tradition that began here nearly 150 years ago.

Storia

From Capuchin Monks to Your Celebration

Before the Guicciardini–Strozzi union, these walls belonged to Capuchin monks — a 17th-century convent on the hills outside San Gimignano. The terraces that will host your reception once overlooked monastic gardens.

The tower that now houses your suite was once a place of silence and contemplation. Today, that history gives your celebration its depth — your guests step into centuries of Florentine heritage.

Who We Are

We started with Italian villas — Como, Ravello, Tuscany — and over 20 years have illustrated more than 150 venues across 20 countries.

One company, one contact, one responsibility: design, printing and bookbinding under one roof — vellum, gold foiling, laser cutting, embossing and table accessories in a single cohesive collection. What you approve in the PDF proof is what you'll hold in your hands.

How It Works

01 · Consultation & Concept

Choose a ready design or create something bespoke. Together we select luxury papers, ribbons and finishes — from embossing to hot-stamping.

02 · Digital Proof

Within 2–3 working days you receive a PDF proof for approval.

03 · Production & Delivery

After approval, your stationery is made and assembled by hand — ready in roughly 15 working days, then shipped by courier. Day-of stationery can be sent directly to Cappuccina Resort.

When to Order

Main Invitations — 5–6 months before

Artisan production takes 15 working days, and guests should receive invitations 3–4 months before the ceremony.

Day-of Stationery — 6–8 weeks before

Place cards, menus, seating charts and guest books are designed after your RSVP list and menu are finalised, arriving 1–2 weeks before the ceremony.
